FUNWORLD at the National Theatre: our pupils take the stage

This term our pupils had the exciting opportunity to perform at FUNWORLD, an annual children's programme hosted by the National Theatre of Ghana — a full day of music, dance, and performance bringing together pupils from schools across Accra.

The morning started with rehearsal on the National Theatre's own stage, running through choreography one more time before the real thing. By early afternoon our pupils were back in the auditorium as an audience themselves, taking in the rest of the day's performances between their own turns on stage.

Then it was showtime — our dancers took their places under the lights and performed in front of a full house, energy and confidence on full display. It's exactly the kind of experience we love for our pupils: a real stage, a real audience, and a chance to shine well beyond the walls of the classroom.

The day wrapped up with a group photo at the FUNWORLD backdrop, tired but glowing after a day they'll be talking about for a while. Thank you to the National Theatre of Ghana for hosting, and to every pupil who represented Graceland so well on stage.
